The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has published parts of Belinda Balluku's investigative file, where the deputy prime minister communicates with Evis Berberi about the supervision of the Grand Ring Road. The name of Prime Minister Edi Rama is also mentioned in the communications between them.
These conversations discuss the opening of supervision contracts, their three-year duration, as well as the financial impact and decision-making on whether or not to open new processes.
The communications reveal concern over the fact that several maintenance supervision contracts have been opened, as well as dissatisfaction regarding the lack of information on the actions taken.
"This is what he's talking about, that it's crazy to agree with Rama! Secondly, why did you do it for 3 years? Deal with this, you're going to drive me crazy. Explain to that bitch that no new processes will be opened because finances don't allow it," Balluk told Berber.
Excerpt from the file published by Sali Berisha:
Contract D “Supervises performance maintenance works of the main axes of the Southern region”;
Lot 3: Contract C “Supervision of maintenance works with performance of the main axes of the Central and Southeastern region;
Lot 2: Contract B “Supervision of maintenance works with performance of the main axes of the Central and Northeastern region”;
Lot 1: Contract A “Supervision of performance maintenance works of the main axes of the northern region”; “Supervision for performance maintenance of road segments added by Council of Ministers No. 600, date 13.10.2021”.
