From the USA to Germany and Turkey, Begaj decrees the appointment of five new

Today, President Bajram Begak decreed the release of five Albanian ambassadors and the appointment of five young people at the proposal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Accordingly, Ridi Kurtezi, who has been replaced by Zhaklina Peto, has left the post of ambassador to Montenegro.

Artur Kuko will no longer be the ambassador of Germany, Adia Sakiqi has been appointed in his place, who has been released from the post of ambassador to the Netherlands.

Ervin Bushati will be the new ambassador of Albania to the USA, a position previously held by Floreta Faber.

Kastriot Robo has been released from the position of ambassador of Albania in Turkey, Blerta Kadzadej has been appointed in his place.

The full announcement of the Presidency:

The President of the Republic, in implementation of his constitutional and legal powers, based on Article 92, letter "dh", Article 93 of the Constitution, as well as Article 26, point 2 of Law no. 23/2015, "For the foreign service of the Republic of Albania" at the proposal of the Prime Minister, decreed the dismissals and appointments of Ambassadors as follows:

1. Released by Decree no. 103 dated 10.7.2023 Mr. Ridi Kurtezi from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in Montenegro, resident.

2. Released by Decree no. 104 dated 10.7.2023 Mr. Artur Kuko from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Federal Republic of Germany, resident

3. Released by Decree no. 105 dated 10.7.2023 Mr. Kastriot Robo from the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Turkey, resident, and from the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in Georgia, in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and in the Republic of Kazakhstan, non-resident.

4. Lirohet me Dekret nr. 106 datë 10.7.2023 znj. Floreta Faber nga detyra e Ambasadorit të Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë të Republikës së Shqipërisë në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës, rezident, dhe nga detyra e Ambasadorit të Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë të Republikës së Shqipërisë në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Meksikës, Republikën e Panamasë, Republikën Domenikane, Republikën e Guatemalës dhe në Republikën e Kosta Rikës, jorezident.

5. Lirohet me Dekret nr. 107 datë 10.7.2023 znj. Adia Sakiqi nga detyra e Ambasadorit të Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë të Republikës së Shqipërisë në Mbretërinë e Vendeve të Ulëta, rezident,  dhe nga detyra e Ambasadorit të Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë të Republikës së Shqipërisë pranë Organizatave për Ndalimin e Armëve Kimike (OPCË), jorezident.

6. Emërohet me Dekret nr. 108 datë 10.7.2023 znj. Zhaklina Peto, Ambasador i Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë i Republikës së Shqipërisë në Malin e Zi, rezident.

7. Emërohet me Dekret nr. 109 datë 10.7.2023 znj. Adia Sakiqi, Ambasador i Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë i Republikës së Shqipërisë në Republikën Federale të Gjermanisë, rezident.

8. Emërohet me Dekret nr. 110 datë 10.7.2023 znj. Blerta Kadzadej, Ambasador i Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë i Republikës së Shqipërisë në Republikën e Turqisë, rezident, dhe Ambasador i Jashtëzakonshëm dhe Fuqiplotë i Republikës së Shqipërisë në Republikën e Azerbajxhanit, në Republikën e Kirgistanit, në Republikën Islamike të Pakistanit, në Gjeorgji, në Republikën Islamike të Afganistanit dhe në Republikën e Kazakistanit, jorezident.

9. Appointed by Decree no. 111 dated 10.7.2023 Mr. Ervin Bushati Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the United States of America, resident, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the United States of Mexico, the Republic of Panama, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Guatemala and the Republic of Costa Rica, non-resident.

10. Appointed by Decree no. 112 date 10.7.2023 Mr. Ridi Kurtezi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in the United Arab Emirates, resident.
