The changes in Prime Minister Edi Rama's government were approved amid tensions in the extraordinary parliamentary session.
The opposition did not participate in the vote, as some MPs were taken on foot trying to block the floor. However, the voting in the last session chaired by Lindita Nikolë continued despite the debates.
The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, addressed Edi Rama, calling him a "thief", while Nikola excluded him from the session. Bardhi had requested a debate on the changes in the government, but his request was not accepted.
