The socialist majority advances the initiative by amending the article in the criminal procedure code for the suspension of state officials.

The draft proposal with their signatures has been sent to the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, to be discussed at the conference of speakers and then for discussion in the parliamentary committees.

Two days ago, when asked about the legal initiative of the socialist majority, the head of the EU delegation in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, stated that "we closely follow all initiatives related to the rule of law and that they do not affect the principles of the 2016 Justice Reform."
