The Democratic Party has not been able to find peace since last Thursday when, thanks to its signatures and the votes of the Socialists, Endri Shabani was elected People's Advocate. And now, to justify themselves to the Democrats, they have started a "witch hunt".

The vote in Parliament was followed by an emergency meeting of the DP leadership on Saturday, when Secretary General Flamur Noka came out with the thesis that Grida Duma had been lobbying for Endri Shabani.

"At the meeting, five MPs said that he called them and Saliani himself admitted it. There is even a rumor that Grida herself is Rama's negotiator for Endri Shabani," Noka declared.

The host and moderator of Top Story on Top Channel, Grida Duma, has called Noka's statements a call to include her in the battle.

"Mul Noka had come out of the chairmanship meeting and had declared that Grida Duma had lobbied for the Ombudsman. I can understand that someone wants to call me into some kind of battle to be fascinating. But since there are Albanians who have followed politics, me too, and democrats who don't know well when I get into the game, this is not the kind of game I play, that's a little bit certain. They know what they wanted to produce with this pseudo strategy, but I understand one thing that they don't know anything about. What don't they know? They don't know that a power like the Ombudsman, thank you for giving it to me, but I give it back to them with all the rags because they made it with patches with their own logic. The Ombudsman has no real power value, it is a political goal to hide some other things ", declared Duma.

Duma also responded to accusations of "not being the opposition's opposition," saying that the leaders of the Democratic Party have been in power for over 20 years and are not letting go.

"They come to television studios and when they came to me they said the same thing "don't be the opposition of the opposition". Who is the opposition among you? You have been in power for over 20 years, from the first to the last. But where do you know how to relinquish power? If you knew how to relinquish power, you wouldn't do those petty things that you have done with a poor membership, a month ago a scandal broke out and it was a black shame for the DP and now I want to clarify that I have no reason for my good standard, for my human friendship, for someone to come and tell me that these people can come out and say whatever they want and deal with people whose words matter" , says Duma.
