The Central Election Commission has decided to distribute 96 million Lek to 9 electoral subjects that received more than 1 percent of the votes in the 2015 local elections.

Of these, the largest part of the amount benefits the Socialist Party, which will receive approximately 44 million ALL, the second is the Democratic Party, with approximately 26 million ALL, and the Freedom Party, approximately 16 million ALL.

In this way, the Democratic Party with the official seal in the hand of Enkelejd Alibeaj is the opposition party that receives the most money, despite the fact that it only competes for 14 municipalities in these localities. From the initial amount, the CEC has also received the debt of this political force of 600 thousand ALL.

Meanwhile, the fund made available for Nard Ndoka's Christian Democratic Party, which in these localities goes to the coalition, will also go to the Freedom Party coffers.

The State Commissioner of Elections has also signed an act-agreement with the beneficiary entities which, in case they do not make any expenditure transparent, will lose the right to benefit from the state budget funds for 5 years or must return the entire amount by paying and the sanctions determined by the electoral law.
