The legal representative of Alibeaj's DP, Indrit Sefa, spoke to the media after the decision of KAS, which decided not to consider the requests of Sali Berisha and Enkelejd Alibeaj regarding the CEC's decision.

Sefa has made strong accusations against Celibashi, stating that the head of the CEC has violated the procedural deadlines, so he asks him to consider the request for registration in the elections. According to him, Celibashi has taken political positions regarding the registration of the DP in the elections.

 

"The decision confirmed our claim that the Commissioner is outside the legal deadline to receive a final deadline. The commissioner had to make a final decision to register DP in the election. He is in violation of the deadlines and has committed abuse of duty. The commissioner is violating the DP and violating the established procedural deadlines. I call on the commissioner to consider DP's request to be registered as soon as possible. Every moment that passes is in violation of the legal provisions and the Electoral Code. The commissioner has taken political positions, is far from the procedure, has interfered in determining the result. I call on him to consider the DP's request. This is KAS decision-making, the commissioner has had it on his desk for several hours and must take immediate measures.

I, as the legal representative of DP, have not yet received an official announcement. The commissioner should send us the agenda. Our position is clear, we have sent that the documentation is complete and should be the basis for the registration of DP. Interpretations are personal. The commissioner's decision-making shows that there is no legal basis for the legal claims. I speak officially with the CEC, it is not a matter of an individual but as a party leader. There are similar practices that refer to this part," said Sefa.
