Democratic Party MP, Jozefina Topalli, addressed the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, to exclude the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, from the session following tensions in the Assembly.
She described Balla's request to hold a minute of silence for the 35th anniversary of the April 2, 1991 massacre in Shkodra as a provocation, while also mentioning his attacks on opposition women in Parliament.
"Please, Mr. Mayor, grab him by the scruff of the neck and throw him out," Topalli concluded.
"You have all the powers, not only do you have all the institutions, justice, money... It's good to maintain order in this, if it can be called a parliament, to see all the articles of the regulation."
It is not normal and has never happened that a mother of two children would be insulted with such vulgar language that even the mafia's dens don't use it because they have a code.
It is not normal for another young mother with two small children to be threatened during a plenary session and told that I will tell you, it has never happened that a deputy provokes the pain of 4 martyrs, provokes the pain of 4 families, of a city and the blood that is placed at the base of a system.
"When a man provokes the dead and deals with women, Mr. Mayor, grab him by the collar and throw him out," she said.
