This Thursday's session in the Assembly was accompanied by strong clashes and tensions between Socialist and Democratic MPs. Media sources indicate that during the debate, Democratic MP Flamur Noka addressed the head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, with threatening language.

"I'll beat you like a kid, do whatever you want," he is said to have told Noka-Balla during the clashes in the hall, where he hit him with the water bottle.

Meanwhile, another opposition MP, Klevis Balliu, criticized Balla's behavior and the attack he has made on his Democratic colleagues, citing the case of Elda Hoti.

Balliu stressed that the session, which had begun normally, was tense due to threats and provocations, demanding respect for the rules and taking measures against Balla.

"Now, honorable chairman, this gentleman here comes every session with a mission to disrupt the session with provocations. He was doing politics with victims this morning, he should have gone outside the last time. He continues here, he comes and provokes the opposition and the families of those who gave their lives so that there would be a hall here.

We had a normal session and he comes with the impudence and threatens a deputy, saying "dare to come in here and I'll show you". What will this caterpillar tell him, let him get up and tell us what he would tell Elda Hoti if he passed by there, and then see what we tell him. I demand that the rules be respected and that the man who calls ladies 0900 be expelled", said Balliu.

The incident comes after a series of tensions that began with debates over the minute of silence for the four martyrs of April 2 in Shkodra and the escalation of verbal and physical conflicts between deputies.
