Former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, has reacted with irony to the news and speculation of recent days that predicted a trip by Prime Minister Edi Rama to the United States, accompanied by lawyers and under the scenario of an immediate intervention by American authorities.
In a post on social media, Manjani recalls that according to a news story published 13 days ago, January 20 was the day when Rama was expected to be " on his way to America ."
He ironizes the comments that accompanied that news, where it was claimed with " very reliable American sources " that the prime minister would be taken directly by the FBI to be escorted regarding issues that, according to them, " would shake Albania ."
Ylli Manjani's reaction:
Today is January 20th.
According to a Balkanweb news report from 13 days ago, Rama will be on his way to America today along with his lawyer.
According to some comments from those days about this "certain" news, today it seems that Rama has been sent "like a goat to the butcher" as he will be directly taken by the FBI to accompany him somewhere to ask him questions about issues that "will shake Albania."
We were deafened those days by the "certainty" of the news from "very reliable American sources"...
Do a simple search on Google and you will find this "news" there.
So today is the day....
We are expecting a shock...
There is little wind today and helicopters are not even suggested to fly... But we wait...
