MP Erion Braçe has confirmed for several days that he wants to run in the elections for mayor of Tirana. To this end, he has also started a number of meetings at the SP Assemblies in the capital, where Prime Minister Edi Rama has also started a tour.

But during this tour, an incident also occurred three days ago at the SP Assembly meeting in unit no. 7 in Tirana.

Vox News learns that while the meeting was announced to start at 6:00 PM, Socialist leader Edi Rama arrived earlier due to the agenda and thus the meeting began with those present.

Meanwhile, Braçe, who had been notified of the meeting at 6:00 PM and when she arrived, was not allowed by the Guard to enter the meeting with the excuse that she had initiated it.

This is the second case where the Guard intervenes against those who are being described as "SP rebels."

After all, a similar incident occurred yesterday in the parliamentary session.

Meanwhile, MP Elisa Spiropali wanted to avoid the attention of the media who were waiting for her at the main entrance of the Parliament. But in her attempt to enter through the back door, the Garda blocked her.

Meanwhile, Braçe commented on the appearance of Prime Minister Edi Rama, at whose side Ogerta Manastirliu appeared in the last two meetings in units 4 and 14.

Braçe said last night on "Top Story" that he would also be at these two meetings, but was engaged elsewhere. Also, the socialist MP, who has publicly announced his candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana, when asked if Rama has reacted, said that so far the prime minister has not contacted him.

"No, this is a normal meeting. I was not in this unit, because I was unable to go to Kashar, as I was in another meeting. I was in the Assembly, where Mrs. Manastirliu was, and at 7 o'clock there was a meeting in Kashar, so I was unable to be there. But I was in the Assembly and I usually sit at the end of the hall to see how people perceive it and how they experience it. Rama has not made any reaction, except for something that is for me... I did not come out with an announcement: "Erion Braçe is wanted as a candidate for Tirana", but I have requested a statutory process within the party, unlike the one in September last year, which was just an announcement.. I do not represent a candidate with an announcement. I want a candidate, even different from me, who creates cohesion with the people", declared Braçe.
