Foreign Minister Igli Hasani has reacted to the accident of an employee of this ministry, who was hit by a car while crossing the street in front of the building where he worked.

Hasani says his condition is stable and out of danger at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. He thanks the emergency services, doctors, and the State Police for their preparedness.

The employee hit by the car while crossing the white lines is Blendi Hoxha, who works as a protocol specialist at this ministry.

Hasan's reaction:

I express my gratitude to the National Emergency, the Trauma Hospital and the State Police for the readiness and professionalism shown in responding to the accident that occurred a few hours ago, where a colleague of ours was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street near the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

While the relevant authorities are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, I would like to inform you that our colleague is out of danger, in stable condition and under the care of doctors at the Trauma Hospital.
