The General Secretary of the Socialist Party, Damian Gjiknuri, has commented with a dose of irony on today's opposition protest.

Publishing some photos on Twitter, Gjiknuri writes:

" Revolution" Berisha-Meta, as it started in despair from the boulevard, deflated like a balloon in the yard of the Socialist Party!

The opposition protested today against the Rama government. The protest called and organized by DP had as its cause the "McGonigal" case and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The protest lasted about two hours.

The protest took place on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" and then Berisha together with the protesters marched towards the Parliament, the Ministry of the Interior, the Municipality of Tirana and the headquarters of the Socialist Party. He asked Minister Çuçi and Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj to resign, while in the pink headquarters he called on the socialists.

"Take this arrival to your headquarters, take it as a message for you and as a weapon of denunciation of those who belong in prison", said the chief democrat.

"I assure you that Berisha respects them as much as they respect the freedom and vote of others. This building has been transformed into a symbol of evil, by Edi Rama, who with his connections to crime has driven thousands of citizens of all beliefs from the country since 2014. I came to tell you that he is not alone in the crime and drug pyramid, I have denounced him and will continue to do so.

These do not protect the interests of socialists but their enrichment. Take Gjiknuri, honest socialists...

Dear honest socialists, if 700 thousand euros were found for Alda Klos, 6 million euros were lost to your Damian. Where did he get them?! His place is only in prison.
