Six months after appointment, Deputy Defense Minister Dorian Tola is dismissed

Deputy Minister of Defense, Dorian Tola, has been relieved of his post by decision of the Council of Ministers.

Dorian Tola was appointed to this position only 6 months ago, while a month after his appointment, Pirro Vengu took over as head of the Ministry of Defense.

The reasons for Tola's dismissal from office are not disclosed.

DECISION ON RELEASE FROM DUTY

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Mr. Dorian Tola, Deputy Minister of Defense, is relieved of this duty.

This decision takes effect immediately.
