"You did the campaign on TikTok", Zhupa clashes with Manastirliu over

The interpellation requested by DP MP Ina Zhupa for the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastriliu, is underway.

Zhupa focused on the stabbing of 14-year-old Martin Cani a few weeks ago, saying it was a planned event.

Meanwhile, the democrat commented on the proposal to close the TikTok platform, saying that politicians themselves use this social network.

" I will ask Spiropali for permission to do what I will do. Madam Minister (referring to Ogerta Manastirliu), I have my chair and I use it in the public interest. A minister who has a record of theft, robbery and death does not come here to give morals on how we should behave. Albanians are harmed more by your theft of public funds than by the words of an opposition member.

When the disaster happened, she realized that she is the Minister of Education. If one of those boys, one injured and the other not alive, had won a medal in art, sports, the first one who knows how to take credit would be Ogerta. If there were a winner somewhere, Ogerta would be the first one to tell us what success she has had with education, when a disaster happens, when there is a lack of responsibility, then Orgerta is not to blame.

Ogerta is introducing 'live', sending messages to schools to 'like' and share. Are you talking about TikTok, that you did the campaign on TikTok?! Are you talking about TikTok? But no, my lady. Introduce media education in schools, so that everyone has the opportunity to show their talent.

"Martin's incident is not an isolated incident. It is a reported incident, a syndrome of a failed education system, " said Zhupa.

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, has responded to Democratic MP Ina Zhupa.

The Minister accused the opposition of using the incident politically, while MP Ina Zhupa also reminded her of the insult she made to MP Erion Braçe in the previous session. Manastirliu said that insults and hate speech are the worst example that can be given to society from the Assembly hall. She also stressed that the Ministry of Education has taken all measures to guarantee the safety of children inside and outside schools.

Manastirliu:  Hate speech, insults, threats are the worst example we can give to children from this hall. They are the worst service we can give to parents and citizens. And you, Madam Deputy, did not delay in giving your bad example from this hall. You seriously insulted an honorable colleague of this Assembly. You had requested an urgent interpellation and used hate speech. The citizens from your side were ashamed to have listened to you, the parents and teachers who educate our children were ashamed of what they heard. You stood up to speak about the problem and you became the problem yourself.

The example that is being conveyed from this hall is directly related to the education of children. That event has touched us all, the entire community. A lot of pain. I repeat, as I have done every time I have had the opportunity during these weeks, my call not to politicize an event that is not only political. Everyone must do their part to prevent this event in the future. Taking advantage of the pain of others means having compassion at negligible levels.

The Ministry of Education has a key role in creating safe environments in schools. All measures have been taken for the incident in question to clarify it. Tragic events involving violence among minors are painful and require serious and coordinated solutions. I would like to assure you that the Ministry of Education remains committed to further strengthening the mechanisms for preventing violence in schools. In recent years, there has been maximum attention among the responsible institutions to raise the security measures for the protection of students inside and outside schools to a higher level.
