The candidate of the Socialist Party for the municipality of Has, Beqir Mulaj, had his vehicle burned inside the garage. It is initially suspected that the arson was intentional.

This incident comes just a few days before the elections on May 14. The incident happened at night, while the car was inside the garage.

The reasons why the socialist candidate for Hasi may have been set on fire are still unknown, while the investigative group is working to clarify the incident. The investigative group is observing the security cameras to clarify the dynamics of the event, as well as to identify the author/s.

Beqir Mulaj is the candidate of the Socialist Party for the Municipality of Has. He entered the race, after the Socialists did not re-candidate the current mayor Liman Morina.
