Prime Minister Edi Rama has exploded with accusations and insults against the candidate of "Bashke Fitomje" for Himara, Fredi Beleri, after the anti-Albanian statement he made in Greece that he will "Hellenize Himara".
In Top Story, Rama responded with harsh language to Beler, describing him as the most illiterate and scandalous candidate who has no connection with the other opposition candidates. Rama said that he competes with the support of the "black page of Albania" to Hellenize Himara.
“Aty bëhet fjalë për kandidatin më skandaloz, më të padurueshëm, më të pagëlltitshëm, të patretshëm sepse s’është kandidat i opozitës si të tjerët. Është një analfabet dhe një i paudhë i cili ka marrë mbështetjen e faqes së zezë, i cili garon me faqen e zezë për të helenizuar Himarën. Ai ka folur, ka kohë që flet për këto maskarallëqe që i shkojnë në mend që janë të pagëlltitshme në kohën që jetojmë dhe s’kanë lidhje me marrëdhëniet shqiptaro-greke. Guxon ai në Republikën e Shqipërisë të flasë për helenizim të bashkisë se Himarës, këtë fjali ka pasur një periudhë që partitë politike shqiptare, PD, PS kanë vajtur bashkë në Himarë dhe kanë mbajt qëndrim të përbashkët. Atëherë ai kandidati atëherë s’ka guxuar ta thotë këtë që thotë ky hajvan sot”, tha Rama.
Rama tha se e ka sulmuar kandidatin e “Bashkë fitojmë” për arsye shumë më tepër sesa politike. Sipas kryesocialistit është ofendim i madh për të gjithë Republikën që një kandidat të ndezë atë zjarr në Himarë.

Rama said that one cannot support a candidate for mayor who, in addition to being convicted, was also suspected of murdering soldiers in Peshkpi.

This shows that they have no imam, no religion, or anything. Let's give Himara to a man, that mascara will put right the injustices of 60 years.
