Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka has condemned the attacks by Serbian residents in the north of Kosovo against KFOR forces and demands that this aggression be stopped immediately.
"Violent and unprovoked attacks against KFOR and the media are unacceptable and must stop immediately. We express our full support for KFOR and wish the KFOR soldiers a speedy recovery. Escalation is now crucial. Dialogue with the mediation of the EU is the path towards the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia and mutual recognition to ensure stability in our region", writes Xhaçka on social networks.
From the incidents in the north of Kosovo with the local Serbs, 25 KFOR soldiers were injured.
