The deputy of the Socialist Party, Erion Braçe, has spoken about the investigations into the incinerators, where, despite the evidence against Arben Ahmetaj, there is no investigation or prosecution against him.

In the show "Zone Zero" on Top News, Braçe stated that it should not be politicians who make reports to SPAK, but they should be investigated by justice, referring in this case to LSI's reports.

He considered the investigations about the incinerators as diverted, where the accusers wanted to save themselves. According to Brace, whoever is diverting the investigations, is obstructing the investigations and must be held responsible.

Among other things, he stated that the incinerators of Fier and Elbasan are being kept closed only because of political pressure.

"Why should the prosecutors for such a sensitive case receive political reports. We made the politicians to be clients of SPAK. We did not make it the politicians to set the prosecution in motion, but it should be the opposite. The reform in justice did not intend for politicians to be the main actors with reports.

Incineration was the right solution for the waste that had occupied many cities in Albania. I still think we should focus on waste segregation. Are the works built? Yes. I have seen Fieri's incinerator, it is a great investment. I am sorry that the Fier incinerator is not put into operation due to political pressure and accusations. Who should be held responsible is up to you, but we should not block an act. It's terrible that it continues to be blocked. The report is valid, but the report that diverts the investigation is called obstruction of justice.

Who is diverting the investigations? Those politicians you see there pretending to know a lot. Politicians have taken heart more than prosecutors, in a Prosecutor's Office where only prosecutors and facts should speak. They are also obstructing justice as long as they are trying to divert investigations. If these politicians obstruct the investigation, or divert the investigation, they must be held accountable.

No one talks about where the justice system fell so that it does not happen again. The problem is not putting people in prison, but the investigation system. People have been put in jail, but the corruption is still there. The system must be seen. When politicians want to exclude themselves and keep themselves out of a report, there should also be a responsibility for those who obstruct and divert the investigation," declared Erion Braçe.
