Entrepreneur and international strategic advisor Dorian Duçka participated in the Europa Forum Lech, one of the most elite platforms for political and economic dialogue in Europe, which takes place annually in Lech am Arlberg, Austria.
At a time when Europe faces multifaceted challenges – from geopolitical tensions and conflicts on its borders to transformations in global energy markets – the Europa Forum Lech serves as a key space for articulating strategies and coordinating international responses. The Forum brings together high-level decision-makers, diplomats, business leaders and experts to discuss the future direction of the continent and its positioning in the global order.
During his participation, Ducka held meetings with the forum's president and former European Commissioner Günther Oettinger, where the focus of discussions was Europe's role in international crisis management, strengthening strategic autonomy, and the critical importance of energy security as one of the main pillars of the stability and competitiveness of the European Union.
"Europe must act more united and more strategically in the face of an increasingly complex global reality. Energy security is not just an economic issue, but an essential element of national and European security," Duka said during the forum.
This exclusive event brought together a number of renowned international personalities, including diplomat Wolfgang Ischinger, chairman of the Munich Security Conference, former Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel, as well as senior institutional representatives such as Claudia Plakolm from the Austrian Federal Chancellery, along with important business leaders from Germany and Austria.
Dorian Duçka's participation in this high-level forum reflects the increasing profile of Albanian actors in international strategic discussions and in elite networks where Europe's future policies and orientations are shaped.
