A day before the re-convening of the Investigative Commission for Public Private Partnership Contracts in Health , the majority has already drawn up a more detailed Investigative Plan which will be presented tomorrow at the coordinated meeting of the commission.
Although the opposition claimed to boycott the commission, the experts called by the majority have worked intensively to prepare the draft that is expected to be approved in the next day's meeting.
The document is a very detailed plan that clearly sets out the parliamentary steps to be followed for the investigation of public private partnership contracts in the health sector. The organizational structure of the Investigation Plan has 7 steps as follows.
Step 1: Defining the Aims and Objectives of the Investigation
Step 2: Determining the Boundaries and Jurisdiction of the Investigation
Step 3: Structuring the Investigation Team
Step 4: Planning the Evidence Collection Process
Step 5: Listening Sessions and Analysis
Step 6: Reporting and Recommendations
Step 7: Taking Further Actions
The draft of the majority experts also clearly defines the calendaring of the Investigative Plan, adhering to the 4-month deadline approved by the Assembly.
Likewise, field visits to see the implementation of contracts, as well as various interviews with staff and patients, are planned. The majority also proposes an action plan for implementing the recommendations, including deadlines and responsibilities.
