DP leader Sali Berisha declared that the opposition's announced protest on December 23 will be massive and that the aim will be to block Tirana from all directions.
At the National Council meeting, he said it would be very dynamic, emphasizing that he would personally participate in this mobilization.
Asked about the details of the protest, Berisha stated that Tirana will be blocked from Qafë Priska to Vora, however, he added that the details of its scenario will be communicated as soon as they are finalized.
"On December 23, Monday at 5:00 PM, we have the most powerful civil disobedience that Tirana has ever seen. The whole world is eagerly awaiting this act, this disobedience has been greatly appreciated, everywhere in the world. I tell you. You should know one thing. We will never be indebted to the help that the international press has given us.
And you should know that there are journalists who have lost jobs for the writings they have done. They have shown themselves to be great. They have shown themselves to be free people, and our gratitude to them is boundless. Therefore, you have seen for yourself with what passion the world's media present our protests, because they are anti-dictatorship, because they are for freedom. It cannot be otherwise.
"This is why we must completely block Tirana from Qafë Priska to Vora, totally from all directions," Berisha declared.
