The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, addressed the democrats, asking them for an "extraordinary mobilization" for the opposition protest scheduled to be held in Tirana on November 26.
In the meeting with the democrats, Berisha said that on that day, Tirana should be in the hands of the citizens and not the government.
Part of Berisha's speech:
This urgently called meeting is related to the protest, to the march in Tirana of the citizens of Tirana and throughout Albania on November 26, 5 o'clock.
The time in which not protest but civil disobedience is called for is short.
But the revolt, the anger of the citizens towards the government increases with progressive speed from week to week.
Anger towards her is unstoppable.
In this context, we can say that the protest of November 26 is a delayed step.
Therefore, I ask from you, from the heads of branches, heads of branches, members of heads, heads of group sections, members of group sections and our supporters, an extraordinary mobilization so that Tirana on the 26th is all in the hands of the citizens and not the government.
Nothing is more merciless than time, and this should be clear to each of us.
This narco-government does not deserve a minute of alone time.
Attack and only attack must be our attitude.
