The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference today from the Blue House, where he made strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and several senior government officials.

During his speech, Berisha declared that Rama is "stuck head and foot in the mafia", mentioning several names, including Belinda Balluku, Ergys Agasi, Olta Xhaçka and Taulant Balla. According to him, the prime minister has decided to block the implementation of the law and the decisions of the prosecution and the courts, openly opposing the lifting of immunities.

Berisha also accused Balluku, calling her the leader of a criminal organization, while describing Rama as the “boss of bosses.” He emphasized that, according to him, the only hope remains the citizens and that their protest will force the prime minister to leave power.

"Even if he goes behind the Sun, we will bring him to court in Albania," Berisha declared, adding that the civic revolt will continue for as long as necessary.

The opposition leader called for continued mobilization, stating that the opposition will convince citizens willing to make sacrifices to remove from power the prime minister, whom he described as "the most hated man in history after Enver Hoxha."
