Thimi Samarxhiu: What is this annex agreed between Serbia and Kosovo for you?

Moretti: It is of historical importance, it is very important for the EU, because it is a decisive step for Kosovo and Serbia on the road to Europe. They have been working for many years, it is a concrete manifestation. It is about a concrete agreement between two countries.

Thimi Samarxhiu: The EU is spoiling Serbia, do you agree?

Moretti: Like Albania, Serbia represents a strategic country for European integration. It is important that these countries feel an important part of Europe. We need Serbia and all countries to be in Europe as soon as possible.

Thimi Samarxhiu: The meeting you had with Vucic, do you see light at the end of the tunnel, is Serbia ready to recognize Kosovo de jure?

Moretti: I am optimistic. I believe we have no alternatives. Vucic has no alternatives. Europe is waiting for Serbia, but Serbia must show that it is at the right level. I have not yet met Vucic, but I have met many parliamentary exponents. I met young Serbs and Kosovans, journalists and people from civil society.

Thimi Samarxhiu: Is it the last moment for Kosovo and Serbia? If they didn't catch the moment, what changes?

Moretti: It would be dangerous for Europe, Serbia. We need to have more allies, to build alliances to stay together. There is still much to do. These are important steps, it is a long process.
