The chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, in a communication to the media, said that Qerim Ismailaj will run again in Mallakastër in the May 14 elections.

Balla said that there is no prohibition regarding the case of Mallakastra. He further added that the fact that someone is called to SPAK does not stop you from running.

As for the question about Bulqiza's case, if there will be a new name after Lefter Alla is behind bars, he refused to comment further.

" If an Albanian citizen during his time in emigration was violated or had a problem that there is no punishment for a criminal offense, these are issues that every Albanian citizen in emigration has suffered," said Balla .

We remind you that the Mayor of Mallakastra, Qerim Ismailaj, has been sentenced by GJKKO to 6 months in prison, which can be converted to 40 hours of work for the public interest. The 49-year-old is accused of committing the criminal offense "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms".
