Today's meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group was not as the Socialists' press office briefly conveyed in a statement.
" During the meeting, the group members assessed the work done so far in the committees, highlighting achievements, challenges and priorities for the coming weeks. An important part of the discussion focused on reviewing the agenda for the next plenary session ," the propaganda announcement, which says nothing, said, among other things.
The truth is that today's meeting was actually a "trial" for Elisa Spiropali.
Belinda Balluku's rematch
Leading her attack in front of all the MPs was Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. In harsh tones, she lashed out at Spiropali for mismanaging last week's plenary session, which caused chaos after the majority quickly introduced the bill on forgiving fines.
Balluku accused Spiropali of favoring the opposition by giving it undeserved space and in violation of the regulations according to the Deputy Prime Minister.
Not only that, but Balluku went even further by alluding that the speaker of parliament is under pressure from Gazment Bardhi, who also dictates her behavior in the plenary session.
Balluku raised insinuations that Spiropali is being blackmailed by the head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group.
We recall here that Gazment Bardhi has often mentioned Pëllumb Gjoka to the Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali.
He has publicly asked her several times what gift she received from Pëllumb Gjoka.
It is not known whether Belinda Balluku had these accusations of Bardhi in mind while she was whipping Elisa Spiropali.
But the government's number two was not alone in these criticisms.
Balluk's attack is followed by others
Immediately, as if to catch her eye and show her devotion and loyalty, Taulant Balla, Erion Braçe and Blendi Klosi lined up .
In almost the same language, they also expressed their dissatisfaction with Elisa Spiropali.
There were also somewhat more moderate positions, such as that of the leader of the SP Group, Niko Peleshi, or Mimi Kodheli.
The entire "trial" took place without the presence of Elisa Spiropali herself, who was absent from today's meeting of the SP Group.
Perhaps he had chosen to be absent himself, knowing what was being cooked up behind the scenes.
Nothing happens without Rama's blessing.
Today's flogging that Balluku gave to Spiropali in front of the entire SP group is not a personal agenda, especially knowing that she is the only one among the socialists who has praised Edi Rama so much by calling him Skanderbeg.
The attack could never have taken place without the blessing of the prime minister, who was also absent from the group's meeting.
No one in the SP is foolish enough to rebel against the Speaker of the Assembly in front of the entire parliamentary group without first having the agreement of Edi Rama.
Not even Belinda Balluku would dare to do this, let alone peripheral characters like Erion Braçe or Taulant Balla.
Everything seems to have been orchestrated by "Skënderbeg" himself against his "Mamica". The reasons still remain unclear./ Lapsi
