"A decision made openly under the pressure of Edi Rama" This is how PD MP Oerd Bylykbashi considered today's decision of the Court of Administrative Appeals, which returned for retrial to the First Instance the issue of the stamp of the DP, undoing the decision of judge Agron Zhukri, who had accepted the changes in the Statute of the Democratic Party, made in the Assembly of December 11, 2021.

Bylykbashi considered today's deliberate decision to leave the opposition out of the May 14 elections, as he considered Alibeaj's group as not even a minority in the DP.

The democratic deputy further added that today's decision marks a black day for Albanian justice and politics that has set a precedent, and that 32 years after the establishment of pluralism by court decision, pluralism was killed.

Bylykbashi : There is no equivocation, today's decision was made openly under the pressure of Edi Rama, warned a few days ago by the minister of Edi Rama, with a pressure that has continued all this time, and it was even today in hall, the pressure on the court, is the decision to exclude the opposition from the elections. It has no other meaning. Bylykbashi : I made the comment regarding this decision. Every other step will be taken by the instances, the elected collegial bodies of the DP, not those appointed by the prime minister, or that anyone else cares about, that do not represent the DP, but represent a logo that Edi Rama has selected. The DP bodies will make a decision and of course the opposition people were in the square today and what we have announced regarding our effort to move democracy forward. DP decisions will be taken by its bodies. What I want to emphasize today, this was a black day for Albanian pluralism and democracy. Today, the court proved that it is finally and totally under the hoof of Edi Rama.
