The candidate of the Berisha-Meta coalition for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, admitted in an interview for Breaking in Top Neës that he does not have a high school diploma. He said that in Albania he completed 4 years at the "Harry Fultz" Institute out of the five years of the duration of the study program he attended.
An investigation published in the media found that Belind Kelliçi was enrolled at Coppin University in Maryland, USA, and then completed a degree in Albania without having a high school diploma.
The lack of a high school diploma is also noted in the decriminalization form, which Kelliçi filled out and submitted to the CEC as a member of the Albanian Parliament.
In the part of the biography and education, he cites only the degree received at the American university, although among the criteria that is defined in filling out the form is the order of education from the earliest to the latest in chronological order.
Kelliçi writes in the form that he has a higher education and in brackets he has put the name of the American university. In the same form, the Harry Fultz Institute is not mentioned for a moment, where he studied for four years and then left this school.
The candidate for mayor in Tirana himself says that he stopped his studies at Harry Fultz and in the USA he underwent and took additional exams to fulfill the admission criteria at Coppin University. / Top News
