The General Secretary of the SP Damian Gjiknuri and the Mayor of Elbasan Gledian Llatja held a meeting with residents of the village of Shushicë, one of the villages closest to the city, but with the big projects such as the Automotoparku and By Pass of Elbasan, it turns into one of neighborhoods of the city.

The number two of the socialists stated that for the realization of these important projects with direct development impact, the strong support of the government is needed to move them forward and the vision of Gledi to shape them.

"The combination of municipality and government should connect us very well in the May 14 elections. Therefore, even in these elections, on May 14, we have the opportunity to vote for Gledi, to vote for Gledi as mayor, but we also vote for the entire Socialist Party team led by Edi Rama, because we are not separated. The Mayor of the Municipality, Llatja mentioned some of the investments made in Shushicë, while adding that the bridge over Shkumbi that connects Byshek with the motor park will give an immediate impact by bringing it to a neighborhood of the city.

"We fixed and systematized the roads, opened the roads of the fields, we paid special attention to the protection from the river Shkumbin. We started first with the cemetery road and that part of the old neighborhood of old Shushica, we continued with the reserves road, then with the market road and we will continue normally because we have not finished the works. Shushica is one of those villages that has a very big perspective. We are making the bypass of Elbasan, we are in the detailed design phase, with the help of the government. With the Bysheku bridge, Shushica will become a neighborhood of Elbasan. We are sure of one thing, the economic perspective is the key to the development of the city, to the development of the village, to the development of Elbasan", emphasized Llatja.
