The Freedom Party has attacked the Special Court, during a media conference from the Freedom Party headquarters, after the detention order for Ilir Meta was confirmed.

Tedi Blushi, the secretary of this party, accused GJKKO and SPAK prosecutors of being caught and acting on the orders of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

He further expressed concern that "anything could happen to Meta in prison", saying that on the day of his arrest there was an "ominous destabilization" plan to physically eliminate him.

:There was a sinister plan to physically eliminate Mr. Meta. If there had been a Guard employee in the car, there would have been bloodshed. They sent the elements of organized crime masked with socks on their heads and heavily armed. Edi Rama, if something happens to Mr. Meta in prison, Edi Rama will bear personal responsibility", said Blushi.

Regarding the hints about Meta's health, based on a statement by analyst Arjan Curri, who said that Meta sings and tells the guards that he is Vojo Kushi, Tedi Blushi called them untrue.

"Who made the statement that he is not in good health, not every moron who is paid by the propaganda office... they are morons. Mr. Meta's health condition is excellent. And if something unexpected happens to him, Rama will bear the responsibility. "I have no comment about these morons who appear in studio after studio," he said.
