The race for the Municipality of Tirana on May 14 will be between at least five candidates. The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Lajla Përnaska, is officially registered as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

She will compete in these elections under the slogan of the Justice, Integration and Unity Party. The request for the registration of the PDIU in the elections has also been submitted to the CEC.

The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Lajla Përnaska, announced earlier that she would return to politics. She said that the only way to return to politics and make a real contribution is to run for the Municipality of Tirana.

Përnaska will compete in the elections of May 14, against Belind Këlliç, the candidate from the coalition "Bashke Fitomje", against the re-candidacy of Erion Veliaj from the ranks of the SP, Roland Bejkos from the DP and Enkelejd Alibeaj, and Arlind Qori from the Lévizja Bashke party.
