Prime Minister Edi Rama, while speaking about the mandate of Belinda Balluku , taken as a defendant by SPAK, said that the evidence brought by the Special Prosecutors to the Assembly has not been received by any SP MP, not even the minister's lawyers.
The head of government said that before Balluk's case went to the Assembly, it also went to the executive branch and, as he said, they took a position by taking it to the Constitutional Court.
Even in the case where SPAK requests the lifting of immunity, Rama emphasizes that they will maintain a position.
Rama: The USB brought by SPAK has not been withdrawn by any MP, nor by the minister or the lawyer. In order not to create any path, they brought it out. So we are not dealing with a change of position, but with a very correct and appropriate position on our part because the case comes to parliament and before it came to parliament, the case was brutally brought into the territory of the executive branch with a request for suspension. This has not happened in any country in the world.
