There are less than two weeks left from May 14, the day when the local elections will be held and the citizens will choose the new leaders of their cities.

However, during this time there have been many complaints from citizens that their voting center has changed. In order to reassure the citizens, Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi explained that in most cases, it is a matter of a simple posting, from one floor of the building to another, so there is no change of the building where the vote is taken.

"Based on this discussion, what has resulted in these changes are related to the fact that within the same voting center (building), the changes are that a voter voted in faction 1 until yesterday, will move to faction 2. So, if they have voted on the first floor, they will go to the second floor" , declared Celibashi.

However, you can verify your voting center quite simply on the website of the Central Election Commission. It is enough to enter your name, father's name and surname, and all your data will be displayed, such as: the address of the polling station, the serial number in the list and the election number.

To verify your voting center you can click HERE .
