MP Azgan Haklaj has made a shocking confession related to an event of several years ago.

Haklaj says that January 21, 2001 was violated and was part of many assassinations by the police of the prime minister of that time, Ilir Meta, where one of them was the assassination with explosives in his apartment where the journalist and his niece Shote Haklaj died.

" I was part of several assassinations, I was politically arrested in the most violent, barbaric way by the police of the prime minister of that time, Ilir Meta, from January 21, 2001, in the most thuggish way, also abusing my daughter who had just started walking. They pulled out my nails, burned me with cigarettes, laid me on the floor barefoot, naked from Tropoja to Tirana.

They kept me in prison for 7 months. In this apartment at midnight on October 31, 2001, where I had my 4-year-old son's birthday, a significant amount of tritol mixed with C4 was placed, an entire building was blown up and the journalist Shote Haklaj died.

It was a very terrible event, an unprecedented act of terrorism. An event still unsolved, at that time the lives of 20 families were put into question, a little girl flew from the fifth floor to the third diagonally in a cradle.

The entire building collapsed, several were injured and Shote Haklaj died. The fact that I was arrested, where I was accused of disrupting the rally of Mr. Ilir Meta in Tropoja, which was on September 26, 2000 in the local election campaign and the crowd got out of control and clashed with the police station and I was imprisoned and Mr. Meta decided to arrest me in that way, being part of the team that was sent to arrest me, including people who were not members of the state police, no one has held responsibility until today, that's why there have been one-sided investigations. " , former deputy Haklaj said in the show "Breaking".
