A primitive star with a completely different composition has been discovered. According to astronomers, not all stars are the same.

After the Big Bang and the beginning of the creation of the Universe, only two elements were present: helium and hydrogen. Through nuclear explosions and over billions of years, their composition has been enriched with other heavier elements, mainly metals, as is the current composition of the core of stars.

However, this star appears to continue to have only the first two elements in its composition, being completely pure of any metal, which means that it continues to exist from the earliest times of the Universe.

It is thought to have been part of the Magellanic Galaxy, which is a satellite of the Milky Way, and over time it has moved and positioned itself within our galaxy.

The star J0715-7334 is classified as a red giant, born from early generation stars after the Big Bang, and does not have even the minimal presence of carbon in its interior, which makes it classified as completely pure and uncontaminated.

It also has not received other elements from its surrounding environment, as it is positioned at the borders of our galaxy, in a protected and isolated cosmic area.
