Shocking footage has been published by foreign media, reporting that security cameras at the apartment complex in the city of Natal, Brazil, recorded the shocking scene starring the 29-year-old basketball player.

Igor Cabral found a conversation with a friend on his partner's cell phone, Juliana Garcia dos Santos, and after throwing it into the pool, he put her in the elevator where they appear to have an intense conversation before the explosion.

The basketball player threw his wife to the elevator floor with one punch. He didn't stop with just one punch, as he continued to punch his partner for at least 30 seconds, leaving her bleeding.


Juliana's screams prompted the mobilization of neighbors who called the police, who arrested the athlete, who faces many years in prison.

Cabral has been placed in temporary custody to prevent the possibility of escape and is expected to be charged with attempted murder of women, one of the most serious crimes in Brazilian law.
