The news of the untimely death of singer Shpat Kasapi has touched the Albanian art world. Colleagues, friends and well-known screen figures have expressed their grief over the loss of the artist, who for years was a beloved name for the public.

Among the most touching reactions is that of singer Vesa Luma, who expressed her pain and great respect for Kasap.

"You made us very sad, Shpat... You were one of the best and most positive people I have ever known. A noble and full of life boy, just like your songs that raised an entire generation. May your soul be filled with light. Condolences to your family, friends and colleagues."

Singer Soni Malaj also reacted to the sad news:

" Farewell my friend...
Today I woke up to the saddest news. A voice, a beautiful soul, an artist who with his talent touched the hearts of many Albanians in Albania suddenly passed away. A friend, a man of light, with his warm smile, with his pure soul who always found the strength to give the best of himself to music, passed away.
It is difficult to accept that a heart attack can take so unjustly someone who had so much to give. But your voice, your songs, the unforgettable moments you left behind for us will not be forgotten. Your kindness, your passion, your voice and your music will live on.
Today we did not just lose an artist, we lost a rare soul.
Rest in peace, my friend.
