What started as a festive evening at a family wedding at a restaurant in Shkabaj ended in a violent incident, involving the famous singer Shpat Kasapi.

His lateness to the wedding and the fact that he was intoxicated led to a physical altercation between the singer and the wedding organizers, which also involved the groom.

Kasapi and his brother, Albin Kasapi, were physically attacked by three people – Feim Kicaj (around 62 years old), Bledar Kicaj (36) and Blerim Kicaj (29). The incident took place on the Pristina-Mitrovicë axis and caused numerous reactions in public opinion.

As a result of the collision, one of the victims required medical attention. Police intervened and escorted the suspects and victims to the police station.

By decision of the prosecutor, Feim Kicaj was detained for 48 hours, while the other two were released in a regular procedure. Authorities have opened investigations to clarify the motives and full circumstances of the incident.

Singer Shpat Kasapi, during an interview given years ago, had made a statement where he admitted that he was fond of physical fights.
He had stated that at the age of 25-26 he was a violent person.

When asked by the show's host, he admitted that he shot his ex-girlfriend after realizing she was cheating on him.

We recall that Shpat Kasapi was rumored to be divorced a few weeks ago.
