Well-known Albanian director Vjosa Berisha passed away on Thursday.

She had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer since last year, while recently being treated in London, where she also died.

Her son, Lekë Berisha, also reacted to the death of the famous producer.

He has shared a series of photos on social media and made a touching dedication.

"Until our next hugs, I love you infinitely, eternally and beyond, Ota", were the words of his son.

The news of Vjosa's death was announced by her husband, Fatos Berisha, who said that he died at University College Hospital in London.

Lekë is otherwise the only child of the deceased and her partner, Fatos.
