Serbs do not hesitate to play the role of the victim wherever they are and whenever it comes to confrontations with Albanians, be it in sports, art or any other field.

This is the latest case coming from Basel, where the Serbian delegation has claimed to have been provoked by a group of Albanian fans during the presentation of their song on the Eurovision stage.

Serbian media claim that when their Serbian singer Princ took the stage, a group of Albanians in attendance revolted because the stage was decorated in red and black. According to these media, Albanians demanded that the red and black colors be removed from the stage as they symbolize the Albanian flag and that the stage be lit with the corresponding colors of the Serbian performance.

"The prince remained calm and explained that the colors are symbolic of the song Mila," they say.

However, it remains unclear whether something like this really happened, or if it is a figment of the imagination of Serbian newspapers, which have shown that this is not the first time they have fabricated such events or dramatized them.
