Albanian singer Rinesance reveals battle with brain tumor

Albanian singer with a career in the US, Rinesa — known to the public as Rinesance — has touched followers with a touching story on social media, where she shared for the first time her struggle with a brain tumor.

In an Instagram post, the artist revealed that she has been facing serious health problems for two months, culminating in an emergency hospitalization on April 18, 2025. After examinations, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent two delicate surgeries.

Currently, Rinesa is in a rehabilitation center, where she is expected to begin radiological therapy.

"Until a week ago, I didn't know what was happening... The way everything has turned out is a blessing in itself for me... Music is the motivation to get through this challenge," she wrote, expressing gratitude for her family, team, and collaborators who have stood by her during this difficult period.

This emotional confession comes a few weeks after the release of her latest project, "Two Phones", a collaboration with rapper Buta, which is now available on all music platforms.

Despite the health challenge, Rinesance shows determination not to stop and to continue her artistic path.

Her story is an inspiring testament that strength of spirit and love of art can bring light even in the darkest days./TAR
