Hang Hang, a white lion from the zoo in the Chinese city of Canton, has sparked reactions from visitors, who have been fascinated by the "extravagant" style of his mane, reminiscent of the popular haircuts of the 1980s and 1990s.

As it was later discovered, Hang Hang has achieved spectacular look due to the strong heat and humidity wave that has hit southeast China.

His images have gone viral on social media, with internet users quickly comparing his character to that of Joe Exotic, a tiger relaxer who starred in the Netflix series "The Tiger King."

 Likewise, there have been those who have found him similar to other celebrities, such as American tennis player Andre Agassi, who had the same style during the 1990s.
