The personal life of renowned chef, Alfio Rrotani , seems to be taking on the same shine as his career.

He has long been in a relationship with Joana Gjonaj , a civil engineer, who has preferred to stay away from the media noise, but very close to his world.

Now the couple is on the threshold of a new chapter: they are becoming parents for the first time. In an interview, Alfio and Joana have shared details of their love story and the emotions of the sweet wait.

According to them, it all didn't start as a romance, but as a work collaboration, created through mutual friends. 

Professional meetings turned into long conversations, humor, and a kind of understanding that is not imposed, but comes naturally.

They emphasized that the basis of their relationship are shared values, respect, and family principles, things that, according to them, have made them feel secure with each other and think seriously about the future.

Joana is in the last weeks of her pregnancy and the couple is expecting a girl.

The news, as they confessed, was desired and thought out by both of them.

They describe the moment they learned about their pregnancy as an explosion of emotions: tears of joy, calmness, and a rare feeling that everything was making sense.

The special thing is that the future parents have decided that the little girl will have two names.

One of them will be Maria, as a touching tribute to Alfio's late grandmother, a figure who, according to him, has left a deep mark on his life.

The first name, meanwhile, will be kept a surprise and will only be revealed after the birth.
