The day before, X Factor star Tom Mann announced that his fiancée, with whom he has a son, had passed away on the day they planned to get married.

Danielle Hampson died in the early hours of Saturday although the British singer did not disclose what the cause was.

"What was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in heartbreak. We never reached the altar; "We made our vows, or danced our first waltz, but you know you were my whole world and the best thing that ever happened to me, Danielle," Tom wrote, among other things.

This was the third date the couple had planned for the wedding after twice postponing the wedding due to the pandemic. They were forced to cancel the first date of marriage in September 2020. "I can not wait to marry you, but the world has other plans," she wrote at the time for her partner.

"To think about what should have been today is strange, but we consider ourselves extremely lucky that a wedding date is all we have lost. "Everyone has a story from 2020… So for now let's celebrate our little special date," Danielle wrote.
