Bill Gates, one of the greatest visionaries of innovation, believes that the programming profession is one of those that will not be negatively affected by the development of this technology.

AI has changed the way code is written and optimized, bringing tools like GitHub Copilot that suggest lines of code and complete blocks, saving time on routine tasks.

This development has increased productivity, allowing programmers to focus on solving more complex and creative problems, while AI takes over the documentation creation and automated testing. Artificial intelligence also helps those with less technical experience write functional code, increasing competitiveness in the job market.

However, programmers still remain essential for designing systems, understanding requirements, and making important decisions.

As Gates says, programming requires creativity, judgment, and a deep understanding of real-world problems, skills that AI has not yet fully integrated.
