Actor Laert Vasili revealed a tragic event from his childhood. He said that at the age of 9 he was raped by a neighbor and that he had been silent about this story for 42 years.

Egli and Gjesti have raised strong doubts about the veracity of this story.

During a conversation held today in the backyard, they expressed skepticism, implying that Laertes's story could be a strategy to gain public empathy.

"Such a painful and deep story directly touches the hearts of Albanians... it pierces you like a knife in the heart. And then, you look like a victim," Egli said.
