Rapper Kanye West apologizes to Rabbi for anti-Semitic attacks after making a

Rapper Kanye West met with Rabbi Yoshiayao Yosef Pinto on Tuesday to apologize for his anti-Semitic remarks regarding the Jewish community.

The rapper blamed his bipolar condition for anti-Semitic outbursts in the past.

"I feel really blessed to sit here and take responsibility," West said as he held Pinto's hands. "I was dealing with different issues. I was also dealing with bipolar disorder, so I would take the ideas that I had and forget about protecting the people around me and myself. So I wanted to take responsibility."

The rapper, who recently released a song about Hitler, said: "So it's like you leave the house and you leave your kid at home and your kid goes and destroys the kitchen and the garage and destroys the living room. Then when you come back, it's your responsibility because that's your job. That's how I see it. It's like I have to go clean the kitchen, I have to clean the living room, I have to clean the garage."

Ye said he "wanted to come and take responsibility," as he believes these are the "first steps" in building "brick by brick" for "strong walls" in repairing his relationship with the Jewish community.
