It looks like it comes from space, but it could be ready in just seven years

The 'Noah's Ark' that kept humanity alive according to the holy book, has recently inspired the Japanese company Boffins TECH to recreate it in the format of a floating city that would be home to 40 thousand people, in the event of an apocalypse.

The city based on the surface of the ocean according to the Japanese will provide a sufficient habitat for the people who will find shelter there.

The developers of the 'N-Ark' project claim that the area called Dogen City would be resilient and survive an apocalypse.

With a perimeter of 4 km, the plan would be for residents to be able to reach any point in the area within an hour.

A number of buildings, including a sports stadium, are proposed and the properties will be able to be moved by floating them to another location.

The format is circular in design to protect it from bad weather and consists of three types of infrastructure.

These are a habitable ring containing the main habitable areas, an underwater data center and medical research facilities, and flexible inner ring structures that can move freely in the inner bay.

N-Ark's development roadmap currently calls for completion in 2030, and designers see the city as a sea-based version of Elon Musk's SpaceX.
