British actress Danielle Mason has made a shocking public statement, accusing her ex-fiancé, Lee Dopson, of physical violence against her.
According to her, the incident occurred in November 2024, after an engagement party at a luxury hotel in England.
The 42-year-old, who is the half-sister of "EastEnders" actress Jessie Wallace, published a photo on "Instagram" showing her damaged face, showing her followers the consequences of the violence.
In a series of other posts, she shared details of her legal battles with 45-year-old Dopson, noting that she has already secured a restraining order from Slough Magistrates' Court.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Mason revealed that the incident took place after a party at the DoubleTree By Hilton St Anne's hotel in Wokingham. She said she felt compelled to come forward after a video was released by her ex-fiancé, showing him with marks on his face, claiming he was the victim.
"I defended myself. He attacked me and I reacted to defend myself. I never wanted to make this matter public, but I cannot allow a false narrative to spread."
The couple tied the knot in 2023 after meeting by chance in a supermarket while walking their children to school. Both have children from previous relationships. Danielle has two children with ex-partner Tony Giles, with whom she appeared on the TV show "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding."
